Brayden McNabb's heavy market positioning stems from his elevated role on the Vegas Golden Knights blue line during the six-game Stanley Cup Final series against the Carolina Hurricanes. The veteran defenseman logged heavy even-strength and special-teams minutes, delivered multiple multi-assist outings including a career-first three-assist Game 1 performance, and maintained strong on-ice deployment alongside Shea Theodore despite a facial injury sustained in Game 2. Forward options such as Mitch Marner (Vegas) and Nikolaj Ehlers (Carolina) posted solid overall playoff numbers but recorded fewer helpers specifically across the Final. Shayne Gostisbehere's limited ice time and production in the series further reduced his chances. Only an unforeseen statistical error or series-length extension could realistically alter the outcome at this stage.
