Incumbent Republican Warren Davidson secured his party's nomination unopposed in the May 5 primary for Ohio's 8th Congressional District, while Democrat Vanessa Enoch advanced after winning her primary with roughly 75 percent of the vote. The district's Republican-leaning partisan voting index and redrawn 2025 congressional map continue to favor the GOP, consistent with its Solid Republican rating from nonpartisan forecasters. Davidson's multiple prior general election victories, including margins exceeding 60 percent, reinforce the current trader consensus reflected in the 81.5 percent Republican probability versus 17.5 percent for Democrats. No major shifts in candidate positioning or external events have altered this outlook since the primaries.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
