Buffalo Sabres host the Seattle Kraken at KeyBank Center with a commanding 44-21-8 record compared to Seattle's middling 32-29-10 mark, bolstered by the Sabres' elite penalty kill (82.1%, 5th) and potent offense (3.47 goals per game, 6th). Sabres boast a strong 22-10-4 home ledger and won their earlier season matchup 3-1, though recent form shows three overtime losses in five games amid forward Noah Ostlund's upper-body injury (day-to-day after optional skate). Kraken limp in on a 3-6-1 stretch over last 10, hampered by Jaden Schwartz's face injury (out until April), Jared McCann and Ryan Winterton day-to-day, and a league-worst 73.5% penalty kill, testing their road resilience in a late-season clash with fading Pacific Division hopes.
