With the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament still distant—Selection Sunday set for March 16—trader sentiment for the team reaching the National Championship game hinges on early-season form, transfer portal reinforcements, and roster health amid NIL-driven shifts. Duke's strong 9-1 start, powered by freshman phenom Cooper Flagg's double-doubles and a stout defense, has fueled optimism despite a recent loss to Kansas; their Cameron Indoor home advantage and non-conference schedule position them well for a top seed. Kansas (8-1) leverages Hunter Dickinson's interior dominance, while Houston's elite defense under Kelvin Sampson persists. Monitor injury reports, NET rankings, conference slates, and bracketology projections, as March Madness upsets often hinge on matchups, rest, and draw luck.
