Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors the Republican Party at 87.5% implied probability to win North Carolina's 8th Congressional District House seat, driven by the district's Republican-leaning map after 2022 redistricting—now rated R+9 by Cook Political Report, with Donald Trump carrying it by 12 points in 2020. Incumbent state House Speaker Tim Moore, the GOP nominee, holds commanding poll leads of 20+ points in recent surveys from Winthrop University and internals, bolstered by superior fundraising exceeding $2 million. Democrat Jonathan Parker trails amid weak party infrastructure. No major shifts in late October polling or endorsements have altered the trajectory ahead of November 5, reinforcing the lopsided odds.
