The solidly Republican character of Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District, with a Cook Partisan Voter Index of R+10, underpins trader consensus favoring the Republican nominee in the 2026 House race. Incumbent Tom Emmer, a senior Republican leader serving as House majority whip, faces a primary challenge from Michael Foley but benefits from strong fundraising and the district's consistent support for GOP candidates in recent cycles. Democratic contenders including Doug Chapin remain early-stage, with no major shifts in polling or endorsements reported in recent weeks. Forecasters rate the contest Solid Republican, and the absence of significant recent developments such as scandals or national wave effects has kept probabilities stable ahead of the August primary and November general election.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
