New York City FC enters as the 57.5% trader consensus favorite against St. Louis City SC, driven by their potent attack averaging 2.6 goals per game and second-place standing in the Eastern Conference with 10 points from five matches (13 goals for, +7 goal difference). Hosting at Citi Field provides a key home advantage, where they've remained largely unbeaten this season amid strong underlying metrics like high big-chance conversion. St. Louis, languishing 13th in the Western Conference on four points (one win, one draw, three losses), has struggled defensively with no clean sheets and just four goals scored, though their recent 3-1 home win over New England Revolution offers momentum. The 23.5% draw and 19% St. Louis probabilities reflect STL's prior 2-0 head-to-head win but highlight their poor away form as a barrier to an upset.
