Toronto Blue Jays head to Guaranteed Rate Field for the Chicago White Sox home opener on April 2 with a perfect 3-0 record after sweeping the Athletics, fueled by strong early offense including George Springer's first home run and Dylan Cease's dominant 12-strikeout debut. White Sox languish at 0-3 in AL Central, grappling with pitching woes amid Tommy John recoveries for Mike Vasil and Ky Bush, plus hamstring issues for catcher Kyle Teel. Blue Jays counter without ace José Berríos (15-day IL, elbow stress fracture) and following Cody Ponce's knee injury exit in their March 30 win. Early-season momentum favors Toronto's rested rotation on a short road trip, though Chicago's home advantage and desperation for a first win add upset potential in this AL matchup.
