Trader consensus favors the Republican Party at 59% in Florida's 27th Congressional District House race, driven by incumbent Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar's mid-single-digit polling leads over Democrat Lucia Baez-Geller in recent surveys like Emerson College's October poll (49%-44%). GOP gains among the district's pivotal Cuban-American and Venezuelan voters—prioritizing anti-socialism rhetoric, Cuba policy, and border security—have solidified Salazar's edge since flipping the battleground seat in 2020. National Republican momentum and heavy ad blitzes reinforce this positioning, though high early voting turnout could narrow the gap before the November 5 election.
