Republican incumbent Maria Elvira Salazar holds a clear edge in Florida's 27th congressional district ahead of the November 2026 general election, reflecting the seat's established Republican lean after her 2024 victory and the state's recent congressional map. Multiple candidates have filed in both parties' August 18 primaries, yet Salazar faces limited primary opposition while Democrats remain divided among challengers without a dominant frontrunner. Fundraising patterns, voter registration advantages in key Miami-Dade areas, and typical midterm dynamics for the president's party further support trader positioning, though the race could tighten if economic concerns or turnout shifts emerge before Election Day.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
