Recent redistricting signed into law in early May 2026 shifted Florida's 23rd congressional district northward into central Palm Beach County, converting it from a competitive seat into one with a strong Democratic partisan voting index. Democratic Representative Lois Frankel has filed to run in the new boundaries, positioning her as the clear frontrunner ahead of the August 18 primary and November 3 general election. These structural changes have anchored trader consensus behind the Democratic Party, with the Republican primary field offering limited counterweight in a district now rated solidly Democratic by multiple forecasters. Upcoming candidate filings and primary results remain the primary near-term variables that could still influence positioning before the general election.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
