Trader consensus prices Spain at 81.5% implied probability to win Group H, driven by their Euro 2024 triumph, top-tier FIFA ranking, and depth featuring returning stars like Lamine Yamal and Rodri from recent March internationals, positioning them far ahead of rivals. The March 31 group draw crystallized this favoritism, with previews emphasizing Spain's attacking fluidity against Uruguay's gritty CONMEBOL qualifiers form—where La Celeste finished fourth for direct qualification—yet stylistic edges favor La Roja in their marquee clash. Cape Verde's debutant status and Saudi Arabia's inconsistent group-stage history in past World Cups relegate them to 2.3% and 2.2%, underscoring the competitive gap despite top-two advancement plus best thirds format.
