Mexico's status as 2026 co-host anchors the current trader consensus in the FIFA World Cup Group A winner market, with home matches at Estadio Azteca and strong recent CONCACAF results supporting the 52 percent implied probability. The squad under manager Javier Aguirre continues preparations with a preliminary roster released in recent days, emphasizing depth and experience ahead of the June 11 opener against South Africa. South Korea brings consistent World Cup participation and Asian qualifying pedigree that sustains its 20 percent positioning, while Czechia, fresh off a late European playoff qualification, sits close behind at 20.5 percent on the strength of organized play. South Africa trails at 5.8 percent as the group underdog despite its 2010 hosting history. Group fixtures begin in under three weeks, with all teams entering the expanded 48-team tournament at full strength.
