This market will resolve to "Yes" if a bill extending federal authority over the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) to the District of Columbia government passes by September 10, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
Any qualifying bill will count regardless of when or if its provisions go into effect.
The bill does not need to be signed into law by the President.
