Republican Jeff Hurd holds a polling edge over Democrat Adam Frisch in Colorado's competitive 3rd Congressional District, fueling trader consensus at 57.5% for the GOP and 33.5% for Democrats in this House election winner market. Recent surveys, including an October RMG Research poll showing Hurd ahead by 8 points and a September Emerson poll with a 5-point GOP lead, reflect consolidated Republican support after Hurd's primary win against multiple challengers, contrasting Frisch's near-upset of the prior incumbent in 2022 by just 1%. The district's battleground status—rated Lean Republican by the Cook Political Report—benefits from national midterm trends favoring incumbents and GOP momentum on energy and border security issues key to Western Slope voters. Early voting is now active ahead of November 5, with turnout dynamics in rural counties poised to influence the margin.
