Incumbent Democrat Brad Sherman's decades-long hold on California's 32nd Congressional District, rated D+14 by the Cook Political Report, anchors the 91.5% trader consensus favoring the Democratic Party in this House race. Sherman's dominant March primary victory with 69% against Republican Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux, combined with a substantial fundraising edge—over $1.5 million cash-on-hand versus Boudreaux's under $100,000—solidifies his frontrunner status in this Los Angeles-area seat with a heavily Latino and Democratic-leaning electorate. Recent quiet on the campaign trail reinforces stability, though traders price in slim risks like a late Republican endorsement surge, voter turnout drops among Democrats, or unforeseen Sherman controversy as paths to upset the odds.
