Henrique Rocha enters as the clear trader favorite in this Grand Prix Hassan II qualifying matchup on outdoor clay, buoyed by his career-high ATP ranking of 131 and scorching 10-3 clay record in 2026, including finals runs at the Asuncion and Brasilia Challengers plus a Santiago semifinal just weeks ago. The 21-year-old Portuguese has won eight of his last 10 matches overall, surging up the rankings amid strong baseline play suited to the red clay surface. Spaniard David Jorda Sanchis, ranked 381 with a middling 3-3 clay mark this year, has endured early Challenger exits in Naples, Murcia, and Pune, relying on qualifier wins but facing a stylistic mismatch in their first head-to-head. No injuries reported, though Jorda Sanchis's height could test returns in Marrakech's morning conditions.
