Cameron Norrie, ranked No. 24, holds a decided edge over No. 58 Miomir Kecmanovic in their Rolex Monte Carlo Masters first-round clash on clay, leading the head-to-head 3-1 across four prior hard-court meetings—their initial encounter on this surface. Both arrive off early Miami exits, with Norrie falling to Alex Michelsen in three sets and Kecmanovic losing a three-setter to Kamil Majchrzak after dropping four of his last five matches, reflecting middling 2026 form (Norrie 9-6, Kecmanovic 8-10). Norrie's lefty spin, two ATP clay titles, and higher ranking underpin trader consensus favoring him in this ATP Masters 1000 opener, though Kecmanovic's recent Acapulco upset of Alexander Zverev signals upset potential absent injury concerns or weather issues. A Norrie win sets up a likely second-round test against fifth seed Alex de Minaur.
