Rei Sakamoto's superior ATP ranking of No. 164 and recent higher-level experience, including a first Tour win via wild card in Miami last week before falling to Daniil Medvedev, position him as clear trader consensus favorite over local Moroccan Amine Jamji (No. 1613) in Grand Prix Hassan II qualifying on outdoor clay. Jamji, competing primarily at ITF M15 level with mixed clay results in recent Tunisia events like a loss to James Connel on March 19, benefits from home-crowd support and surface familiarity in Marrakech. No head-to-head history or reported injuries; the best-of-three-sets matchup highlights qualifier volatility where upsets occur amid stylistic contrasts and travel fatigue for the Japanese teen.
