In the Morelia Challenger final on outdoor hard courts, eighth seed Borna Gojo (ATP No. 181) meets Juan Pablo Ficovich (No. 208) in their first head-to-head matchup, with trader consensus reflecting both players' strong tournament runs. Gojo has dropped only one set en route to the championship, advancing past Nicolas Mejia 2-0 in the semifinals after a 7-6(3), 6-4 quarterfinal win over Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez, leveraging his 6-5 frame and powerful serving on the faster surface. Ficovich, on a heater with four straight wins including a 6-3, 7-5 upset of Tristan Schoolkate in the quarters and prior victories over Shintaro Mochizuki and Mateus Alves, shows improved hard-court aggression despite a clay-heavy background. No reported injuries; expect a baseline battle testing endurance in best-of-three sets.
