Stefanos Tsitsipas holds a commanding edge over Francisco Cerundolo in their ATP Monte Carlo Masters round-of-64 matchup on clay, driven by a 2-0 head-to-head lead—including a straight-sets third-round win at the 2024 Paris Masters—and his three Monte Carlo titles (2021, 2022, 2024), where his topspin-heavy game thrives on the slow, high-bouncing courts. Cerundolo counters with elite clay form, highlighted by his 2026 Buenos Aires ATP 250 title and a gritty Miami third-round upset of top-10 Daniil Medvedev despite a late leg concern, plus consistent deep runs on the surface. Recent Miami exits—Tsitsipas to Arthur Fils in the third round, Cerundolo to the last 16—leave both rested, with mild Monte Carlo weather and a potential Jannik Sinner third-round clash amplifying stakes for the baseline duel.
