Michigan edges Arizona and Duke in trader consensus for the 2026 NCAA Tournament due to Dusty May's rapid rebuild, landing elite recruits like Nate Ament amid roster continuity from their 2024 Final Four push, but the top trio's razor-thin spread underscores college basketball's parity. Arizona leverages Tommy Lloyd's high-octane system with top-5 class commitments, while Duke banks on Cooper Flagg's sophomore stardom post-2025 hype. Florida's 9.8% reflects portal savvy under Todd Golden, Houston's Kelvin Sampson drill, and Illinois/Purdue's Big Ten depth. Transfer portal reshuffles, NBA draft defections, and untested freshmen integration fuel uncertainty, keeping implied probabilities volatile as schedules firm up.
