Michigan holds a narrow edge in trader consensus for the 2026 NCAA Tournament winner at 22.5% implied probability, with Arizona (20.2%) and Duke (17.5%) keeping the race tight amid elite recruiting hauls and transfer portal windfalls. Dusty May's Michigan landed top-10 2026 class commitments including 5-star wings and high-IQ guards, bolstering a roster eyeing Big Ten dominance after a solid 2025 campaign. Arizona stacked versatile bigs and shooters under Tommy Lloyd, Duke reloaded via Cooper Flagg's incoming impact and portal vets, while Houston's Kelvin Sampson maintains defensive grit. Pending NBA draft entries, NIL deals, and transfer flux underscore the parity, with no program holding insurmountable advantages in schedule strength or roster health.
