Both the Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates enter their upcoming three-game series at PNC Park with sub-.500 records and multiple key absences on the injured list. The Twins sit at 23-27 in the AL Central while the Pirates stand at 26-24 in the NL Central, each relying on healthy rotation depth and everyday players to climb the standings. Catcher Ryan Jeffers and starter Taj Bradley headline Minnesota’s notable absences, alongside several relievers and depth arms. Pittsburgh faces similar challenges with outfielder Ryan O’Hearn, starter Jared Jones, and catcher Joey Bart sidelined. Recent series results and home/away splits will shape how these depleted rosters perform over the next few days.
