The wide-open Grammys 2027 Song of the Year field reflects a post-eligibility surge of high-profile releases, with no single track dominating precursor buzz or guild signals yet. RAYE’s “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” leads implied probability through its bold narrative songwriting, UK chart peak, and critical positioning in a British R&B wave, while Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” counters with record-breaking Billboard Hot 100 longevity and country-Americana storytelling that historically resonates with Academy voters. Olivia Rodrigo’s dual entries draw on streaming metrics and prior nods, Olivia Dean’s tracks highlight elegant R&B craftsmanship, and veterans like Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars bring established voting blocs. Nominations in November will clarify frontrunners amid the category’s emphasis on songwriting depth over pure commercial peaks.
