Drake’s “Iceman” is expected to open in the 450k-500k range in its first week, reflecting traders’ assessment of the artist’s sustained commercial power and pre-release momentum. Drake’s catalog consistently drives high streaming volume and fan engagement on platforms like Spotify and Billboard, supported by established release strategies and loyal audiences that have produced comparable or stronger debuts in recent cycles. The market shows little room for deviation, as historical patterns and current promotional signals point to a predictable high-volume launch. An upset into lower brackets would require sharply reduced streaming or an unforeseen negative development close to street date, while a move above 500k would hinge on exceptional early metrics exceeding recent benchmarks.
