Carly Rae Jepsen’s upcoming double album *Day and Night*, set for September 18 release via Interscope, faces modest first-week sales expectations due to her established niche pop following and the broader industry shift toward streaming over pure album purchases. The 24-track project arrives after the June single “On Wires,” with limited breakout momentum compared to her earlier hits. Traders appear to weigh her typical mid-tier chart performance, competition in the September window, and historical precedents for similar artists in the current market. Upcoming streaming metrics, preorder updates, and critical reception in the coming weeks could influence any late shifts in these probabilities.
