Elon Musk’s March 2026 announcement that X Money would enter early public access the following month remains the clearest near-term catalyst for trader sentiment, though the platform is still in limited beta with users reporting 6% APY savings accounts, P2P transfers, and metal debit cards tied to the Visa partnership. Regulatory scrutiny intensified in mid-April when Senator Elizabeth Warren requested detailed information on licensing, user protections, and compliance ahead of broader rollout, introducing uncertainty around full-scale deployment. X continues to hire senior payments engineers while maintaining more than 40 U.S. money-transmitter licenses, positioning the service to compete directly with Venmo and Cash App inside the X super-app ecosystem. Key upcoming milestones include any expansion beyond early access, additional state approvals, and potential integration of features such as direct deposit or yield-bearing accounts that could shift implied probabilities if confirmed.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if X Money is launched by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.
X Money must be launched and publicly accessible to qualify, including via open beta, open rolling waitlist signups, or any other form of early public access launch. A closed beta or any form of private access will not suffice.
The release must be either clearly defined and publicly announced by X as being accessible to the general public or otherwise made publicly accessible and explicitly labeled within the company’s official platform.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from X; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
