Allison Wang, a 15-year-old American junior ranked around No. 136 in the ITF junior standings, meets Kailey Evans, a 23-year-old with college experience at the University of San Diego and a current WTA singles ranking near 740, in the ITF W15 Lakewood on outdoor hard courts. Evans enters with more recent match play in the event, including a straight-sets win in her prior outing, while Wang has minimal senior-level results and is transitioning from junior competition. The hard-court surface favors consistent baseline play and serves, areas where Evans’s added physical maturity and match toughness could provide an edge against the younger player’s developing game. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect either side heading into the contest.
