The closely bunched implied probabilities reflect the high uncertainty surrounding the FIFA World Cup assists leader, with no player yet securing a dominant role in their national team's attacking setup. Creative midfielders and overlapping full-backs like Marcel Sabitzer, Antonee Robinson, and Andy Robertson sit near the front due to their set-piece responsibilities, crossing volume, and recent club form in high-tempo leagues, yet the race stays tight because World Cup outcomes hinge on unpredictable factors such as squad rotations, defensive matchups, and knockout-stage momentum shifts. Traders' consensus shows that several wingers and box-to-box options retain realistic paths to the top of the assists chart depending on their teams' progression and tactical emphasis on width and transitions.
