Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors' Championship by a wide margin after strong results in the opening races, including multiple wins and podiums driven by Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. The team's advantage stems from superior power unit performance and car pace under the new regulations, consistent qualifying dominance, and reliable race execution that has outpaced Ferrari, McLaren, and Red Bull. Trader consensus at 87.5% for Mercedes reflects this early-season form and points gap. Potential shifts could arise from mid-season development battles, reliability setbacks for the leaders, or rivals executing major upgrades that close the performance delta in upcoming Grands Prix like Monaco.
