Mercedes leads the 2026 Constructors' Championship by a wide margin after 13-plus rounds, driven by the W17's strong adaptation to the new regulations and consistent double-points finishes from Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. Antonelli has secured multiple victories, including a dramatic home win at Monza from 19th on the grid, while Russell has added podiums and wins that have extended the team's advantage to over 120 points ahead of Ferrari. This performance edge, combined with McLaren and Red Bull trailing further back in the standings, underpins the heavy market weighting toward Mercedes. Late-season reliability problems, major regulatory adjustments, or sustained gains by rivals remain the primary scenarios that could narrow the gap before the finale.
