Lula holds the strongest trader consensus for first place in Tocantins in the October 4 first round, reflecting his national polling lead and incumbency advantages in a polarized contest. Recent CNT/MDA and other surveys show him ahead of Flavio Bolsonaro nationally by roughly 10 points in the opening round, with the gap narrowing in runoff simulations. State-level data from Tocantins remains closer, including a late Veritá poll indicating a technical tie or slight edge for Bolsonaro within the margin of error. Minor candidates such as Augusto Cury register single-digit support, while structural factors like regional voting patterns and campaign dynamics continue to shape assessments ahead of the October 25 runoff threshold if no candidate exceeds 50 percent.
