Recent polling averages for the September 20 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election place Die Linke in a tight three-way contest with the CDU and AfD, with the party’s support holding near 19-22% in late August surveys. This positioning reflects gains from 2023 levels driven by voter focus on housing affordability and living costs under lead candidate Elif Eralp, alongside a fragmented field where smaller parties risk missing the threshold. Seat projections from these shares cluster in the low-to-mid 30s, with modest upside potential if turnout or late shifts favor the left. The narrow gap among top parties leaves room for variance in final distribution, consistent with trader emphasis on the 30-39 seat band as the most probable range.
