Jenny Lim holds the edge in the ITF W15 Oliva round of 16 on clay against Shannon Lam, buoyed by a higher WTA ranking near 546 compared to Lam’s 705 and a dominant 6-3, 6-2 victory in their only prior meeting eight days earlier at the W35 Estepona. Both players advanced comfortably in straight sets during the opening round in Oliva, with Lim defeating Yleymi Lugiana Muelle Valdez and Lam overcoming Camila Rodero Contreras. The quick turnaround on the same surface highlights Lim’s recent form and direct experience against her opponent, while Lam seeks to reverse the result in this lower-tier professional event.
