The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 45-48% for Antonee Robinson, Marcel Sabitzer, Martin Ødegaard, Kaoru Mitoma and several others stems from the wide-open nature of the 2026 FIFA World Cup assist race, where no single player has emerged as a dominant creator ahead of squad announcements and group-stage matchups. Attacking fullbacks, wingers and central midfielders from mid-tier and stronger nations share similar projected minutes and set-piece involvement, while established stars like Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes carry lower consensus shares due to team systems that may prioritize other outlets. This pre-tournament uncertainty, with limited recent form data available, keeps the market balanced as traders weigh positional roles, historical tournament assist distributions and potential for unexpected breakout performances across the expanded 48-team field.
