Elon Musk’s March 2026 confirmation that X Money would enter early public access the following month remains the dominant driver of trader sentiment on the 𝕏 Money launch timeline. The platform has secured more than 40 U.S. money-transmitter licenses and a Visa partnership announced in January 2025, enabling features such as peer-to-peer payments, direct deposits, and FDIC-insured yield accounts inside the X app. These milestones position X to compete directly with Venmo and Cash App while advancing Musk’s vision of an everything app. Recent regulatory attention, including a Senate inquiry into the April rollout, highlights ongoing compliance risks that could still shift the exact public-access date. Traders are now watching for any further Musk updates or beta feedback that could clarify whether the service reaches users before the end of May.
