Traders are closely watching X's imminent full public rollout of X Money, its digital payments system, after an external beta launch in late March 2026 and a teaser post from Head of Product Nikita Bier signaling an April debut. Elon Musk's early March announcement of "early public access next month" catalyzed initial positioning, highlighting features like 6% APY yields on balances, 3% cashback on a metal Visa debit card emblazoned with users' X handles, peer-to-peer transfers, and FDIC-insured deposits up to $250,000 via partner Cross River Bank—licensed in over 40 U.S. states. Crypto integration hints persist via hires like Aave's ex-CPO and Smart Cashtags for in-app stock/crypto buys, amid competitive pressure from Venmo and WeChat-style super apps. A potential April 20 launch looms as the key catalyst before the market resolves on April 30.
