Yihan Qu and Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi, both rising juniors ranked in the ITF top 40, meet in the Roland Garros juniors girls draw on clay. Revathi, the higher-ranked player at ITF Junior No. 28, makes her French Open debut after solid recent results, while left-handed Qu from China enters with a career-high junior ranking of No. 22 earlier this year. The surface favors baseline consistency and movement over power, areas where both competitors have shown promise in prior ITF junior events. No significant injury concerns or withdrawals have been reported, keeping the field intact for this early-round clash. Trader consensus reflects a competitive matchup given their similar rankings and limited direct history, with outcomes hinging on adaptation to Paris conditions and current form.
