Tee Higgins enters the middle of the 2026 NFL season with just one receiving touchdown through five games for the Bengals, despite strong volume that includes 27 receptions and 423 yards. The 27-year-old wideout has posted double-digit touchdown totals in each of the prior two seasons when healthy alongside quarterback Joe Burrow and fellow receiver Ja'Marr Chase, but recurring lower-body and neck issues have limited his red-zone involvement and consistency early this year. His four-year contract extension keeps him in Cincinnati through 2028, where target share and offensive line stability will influence scoring opportunities. The team's upcoming schedule and any further injury setbacks for the passing attack remain key variables for his season-long total.
