Mohamed Salah's free-agent status after departing Liverpool at the end of the 2025-26 season has positioned the Saudi Pro League as the clear frontrunner in trader consensus, fueled by aggressive pursuit from clubs like Al-Ittihad offering salaries far exceeding European norms. Recent comments from the Egyptian forward indicating he is still assessing offers, with a decision possibly after the 2026 World Cup, reinforce this positioning while keeping limited upside for alternatives. Interest from Serie A sides such as Roma and AC Milan, plus Fenerbahce in the Süper Lig, has surfaced but remains secondary due to salary gaps, while MLS options like San Diego FC appeal on lifestyle grounds yet trail financially. Lower probabilities for the Premier League and other top European leagues reflect minimal confirmed suitors and Salah's likely preference against domestic moves out of respect for Liverpool, with the Egyptian Premier League drawing attention as a potential home return.
