Mohamed Salah's confirmed exit from Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season, after agreeing to rip up his contract extension, has created a wide-open market for his next destination heading into the summer transfer window. Trader sentiment remains tightly bunched among La Liga, Serie A, and the Saudi Pro League because of competing pulls: substantial wage packages from Saudi sides like Al-Ittihad that meet his valuation demands, alongside interest in European moves that could preserve high-level competition and Roma connections from his earlier career. Fenerbahçe talks in the Süper Lig add another layer of high-salary European options, while MLS speculation lingers as a lower-probability alternative. With Salah captaining Egypt at the 2026 World Cup and no club yet confirmed, the unresolved timing and his stated conditions on contract length and family factors sustain the close implied probabilities across these leagues.
