Trader consensus favors Inter Miami CF at 17% implied probability to win the 2026 MLS Cup, buoyed by Lionel Messi's ongoing scoring bursts—including a goal and assist in their May 2 draw versus Orlando City—and a third-place Eastern Conference perch after 11 matches, underscoring their attacking firepower amid a balanced roster. LAFC holds steady at 11.5% following an early 5-0-1 start with dominant wins like 6-0 over Orlando, though recent draws have cooled momentum while they sit third in the West. Vancouver Whitecaps' 10.8% reflects their second-place Western Conference surge with 25 Supporters' Shield points through limited games, driven by high-powered scoring (26:6 goal differential) and keeping pace atop MLS standings. Nashville SC (5.5%) leads the East, San Jose Earthquakes (4.7%) top the West, fueling a tight race in this parity-driven league with 28 matches remaining before playoffs.
