Both the San Francisco Giants and Colorado Rockies enter their upcoming series with sub-.400 records, sitting near the bottom of the NL West standings amid inconsistent offense and pitching. The Giants, coming off a sweep by the Diamondbacks, have struggled to generate consistent run support at Oracle Park and on the road. The Rockies, playing at hitter-friendly Coors Field, feature similar challenges with a high team ERA and limited depth. Recent form for both clubs shows frequent high-scoring games influenced by the altitude, where bullpen usage and starting pitcher matchups often decide outcomes in this division rivalry. Roster health and late-inning execution remain key variables heading into the three-game set.
