Chicago Cubs enter the series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies at Wrigley Field riding an eight-game win streak, including victories over the Phillies in the first three games of this set (5-1, 7-4, and 7-2), fueled by Michael Busch and Seiya Suzuki's home runs and strong starting pitching. The Phillies, mired in a seven-game losing skid and sitting at 8-15 in fourth place in the NL East, face pitching challenges with Zack Wheeler on the 15-day injured list after shoulder surgery and José Alvarado day-to-day with a back spasm. Cristopher Sánchez (2-2) starts for Philadelphia against Edward Cabrera for the surging 15-9 Cubs, who hold second in the NL Central; home-field advantage and recent momentum heavily shape trader consensus amid variable Wrigley weather.
