The Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox, both AL Central contenders in 2026, meet for a three-game series at Rate Field with playoff positioning on the line. The White Sox have posted a significant turnaround, sitting near .500 and within striking distance of the division lead or wild card after improving their offense markedly from prior seasons. Minnesota enters with a comparable record, bolstered by Byron Buxton's strong contributions and earlier momentum, though both clubs carry recent inconsistencies. Key factors include pitching matchups, home-field dynamics for Chicago, and any late injury updates affecting lineups or bullpens. Recent series history and divisional implications shape trader focus on which side secures the edge in this matchup.
