The Chicago White Sox enter Sunday’s series finale at Oracle Park with unexpected momentum, holding a 26-25 record built on nine wins in their last 12 games and strong outings from starter Davis Martin. The Giants, at 20-31, snapped a four-game skid with a 10-3 victory on Saturday powered by Harrison Bader’s grand slam, though they continue to battle injuries to outfielders Heliot Ramos and Jung Hoo Lee. Chicago’s bullpen took a hit with Jordan Hicks landing on the injured list due to a lat strain. Sunday features a matchup of left-handers Robbie Ray against Noah Schultz, with both clubs dealing with defensive miscues and inconsistent offense in interleague play at the waterfront ballpark.
