The Chicago White Sox enter this series with stronger recent form and a superior 24-22 record, sitting second in the AL Central, while the Giants sit at 20-27 and have dropped their last four games amid a broader slide in the NL West. Key injury updates include Giants shortstop Willy Adames dealing with a bruised right thumb and starter Logan Webb on a knee rehab schedule, potentially impacting their lineup and rotation depth at Oracle Park. White Sox catcher Kyle Teel remains sidelined longer than expected after a knee sprain during rehab, though outfielders like Tristan Peters have shown recent power in limited action. Home/away splits and the Giants' ongoing struggles with consistency continue to shape the matchup dynamics heading into the three-game set.
