The Philadelphia Phillies host the Colorado Rockies in the second game of their weekend series at Citizens Bank Park following a dramatic 9-7 extra-innings loss in Friday's opener, where Hunter Goodman and Troy Johnston fueled Colorado's late rally to snap a six-game skid. Probable starters Kyle Freeland (1-3, 5.04 ERA) for the Rockies and Aaron Nola (2-3, 5.06 ERA) for the Phillies both carry elevated ERAs amid thin rotations—Rockies missing Ryan Feltner (tricep) and others on IL—while Philly boasts home-field edge and a 2-13 Rockies road record in their last 15 head-to-heads. Mild 65°F weather favors hitters, with Goodman's recent surge (10-for-43, four HRs last 10 games) adding upset potential despite Colorado's NL-worst 16-23 mark versus Phillies' middling 17-22.
