Luis Arraez holds a clear edge in the batting average race at .318, well ahead of Yordan Alvarez at .310, reflecting his elite contact skills, minimal strikeouts, and consistent production across 139 games with the Phillies. Recent September results have kept his average stable near that mark while qualified hitters behind him, including Otto Lopez and Yandy Díaz, sit in the .303–.305 range amid varying playing time and matchups. Alvarez’s power profile supports his secondary position in trader pricing, but his lower average and higher strikeout rate limit upside for the title. With roughly three weeks remaining, Arraez’s established lead and low-risk approach underpin the strong market consensus around his outcome.
