Barcelona hold a commanding 11-point lead over Real Madrid at 85 points after 33 matchdays in the 2025-26 La Liga season, with Villarreal (65 points) and Atlético Madrid (60 points) securing the other Champions League spots ahead of Real Betis (50 points). Barcelona's recent 2-0 victory over Getafe on April 25 extended their unbeaten run and +57 goal difference advantage, while Villarreal's push into third followed key wins. Atlético's five-point edge over challengers reflects consistent form despite defensive injuries like José Giménez. With five fixtures left, including Barcelona vs. Real Madrid (May 10) and Villarreal vs. Atlético (May 23), trader consensus views top-four security as near-certain barring major collapses, though Lamine Yamal's season-ending injury for Barcelona adds minor uncertainty.
