Dayeon Back enters this ITF W35 Changwon hard-court encounter holding a clear ranking edge at world No. 332 compared with Su Jeong Jang’s No. 707. The younger South Korean has posted stronger recent results on the ITF circuit, including straight-sets victories in the preceding W35 Andong event, while Jang has shown inconsistency with early exits and three-set losses. Their sole prior meeting dates to 2021, when Jang prevailed in three sets on home soil, yet current form and ranking trajectory favor Back. Both players benefit from local familiarity and no reported injuries, leaving surface speed, serve consistency, and baseline rallies as the primary variables that could sway the outcome in this closely contested lower-tier professional match.
