The EWC 2026 League of Legends Korea Qualifier pits nine LCK teams—excluding pre-qualified defending champions Gen.G—in a double-elimination bracket at Sangam SOOP Colosseum from May 4-26, awarding two main event spots via top seeds' LCK Round 1 standings. Over the weekend, top seed Hanwha Life Esports swept DN.SOOPers 2-0, Dplus KIA blanked Nongshim RedForce 2-0, T1 dominated HANJIN BRION 2-0, and BNK FEARX upset KT Rolster 2-0, while DN.SOOPers edged Kiwoom DRX in play-in. No teams have qualified yet; trader consensus hinges on May 12 Round 2 upper bracket matchups—FEARX vs. T1 and HLE vs. Dplus—amid overlapping LCK commitments and potential fatigue. Lower bracket action resumes May 18.
