Flávio Bolsonaro maintains a commanding lead in Santa Catarina first-round polling for the 2026 Brazilian presidential election, with recent state surveys showing him at 45-50% against single-digit or low-20% figures for rivals. This positioning stems from the state's conservative voter base, established PL party networks, and alliances including with Governor Jorginho Mello. Traders price the outcome at 97.4% implied probability, reflecting consistent regional data through mid-September. Potential shifts could arise from national campaign momentum, vote fragmentation among other right-leaning names, or developments in ongoing legal matters affecting candidate viability before the October first round.
